Questions & Answers
The essentials in brief: who we are, what we do, how subscription, partnership and joining the movement work.
What is SOF RMU?
NGO «SOF RMU» — Special Operations Forces of the Resistance Movement of Ukraine: a non-governmental organisation uniting combat special-operations specialists. We act as part of the Ukrainian defence system, not outside it — within the law, with discipline and the protection of civilian life as a priority.
What domains do you work in?
Six domains: special operations, intelligence and situational awareness, humanitarian demining, strategic contracts, civil defence and the reconstruction of Ukraine. Each domain is described on the Domains page; details of methods are not disclosed.
What are “Vector” and “Rupor”?
These are our analytical products. “Vector” — regular OSINT snapshots of the current situation, published twice a day. “Rupor” — official briefings and statements of the organisation. Both are available on the site in seven languages; full text requires a subscription.
How does the subscription work and what does it cost?
Three tiers. Free — no charge: Vector report previews, public Rupor briefings, news. Pro ($19/mo or $190/yr) — full texts, notifications, API, export. Institutional ($99/mo or $990/yr) — additionally closed briefings, raw OSINT data and analysis on demand. Billing is in USD; on the subscribe page prices can be viewed in other currencies at approximate rates.
How do I join the movement?
Fill in the form on the Join page. We review every application and get in touch personally. Combat experience is valued, but the movement also needs rear specialists: analysts, medics, engineers, lawyers, communicators.
How do I become a partner?
Send a short request to info@sof-rmu.com: task description, approximate scope and timeline. We respond within three working days. First contact carries no obligations. Formats and principles of cooperation are described on the Partnership page.
Why don’t you publish operation details and fighters’ names?
This is an operational security (OPSEC) requirement: disclosing methods, personnel and operation details endangers lives and mission success. What is public is the framework of activity — domains, principles, results within permissible limits. This is not secrecy for its own sake, but the discipline of war.
What languages is the site available in and how do I contact you?
The site is available in seven languages: Ukrainian, English, German, Russian, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Arabic. Communication channels are on the Contacts page: e-mail info@sof-rmu.com, phone, Telegram and Signal. For partnership requests we respond within three working days.
